Transfers

To carry out domain transfers you will need your current provider to give you with the AuthCode or EPP-Key of the domain, with it you demonstrate the ownership of the domain.

Transfers take 5-7 days to complete. Some registrars allow you to accept transfers manually, contact your current provider and find out if they offer this type of service, so the transfer will be completed the same day.

The domains, once the transfer is complete, extend the expiration date by one year.

Renewals

You can renew your domain at any time, this process usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes to complete.

Cancelation

It is possible to request the cancellation of a domain, you must do it via ticket (support area). Keep in mind that the cancellation does not imply the payment of the amount paid by the domain.

DNS modification

The modification of DNS is immediate, keep in mind that they will have to propagate through the network, this process usually takes between 2 and 48 hours to propagate correctly, so the previous server could appear active during that time.

Domain owner change

In order to proceed with an ownership change of many domains, it's necessary that both the current and new owner accept this change. Once the ownership change is completed the domain is locked for transfers for a 60-day period, during this time the domain won't be able to be transferred to another registrar.

La validación de su titular como entidad educativa puede suceder en cualquier momento e inclusive posterior al registro del dominio, por lo que se podría solicitar el envio de los documentos que sustente su calidad como entidad para ser titular en el registro de dominio EDU.PE.

El no proveer la documentación correcta, o no ajustar o cumplir con el requisito podría suponer una posibilidad para suspensión o anulación del registro por el incumplimiento de la política.
